Born in Arequipa, Peru and living in Switzerland for more than 20 years, Christian has always been able to trace his path, balancing between art and technique, between his passion for dance and his job as Technician HS in mechanic and micromechanic.

He grew up in a family in which dance and music had a predominant place and he was able to immerse himself very early in the various rhythms and styles of Latin American music

His training as a dancer began at a very young age with the learning of traditional Peruvian folk dances and continued with multiple workshops in Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, bachata and kizomba

However, it is especially towards the Argentinean tango that has been the focus of his attention and energy for the last 25 years. At the age of 11, became acquainted with tango, a dance that he will never stop practicing as it sticks to his skin. He follows many teachings in Argentina and in Europe and in 2001 he founds his school ⭐MonROYdanse in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He represents Switzerland at the world tango championship in Buenos Aires in 2015 and goes on to the qualifications, in 2016 he was Swiss Champion in Latino-Show, winning the title of Swiss champion of Argentinean tango four times in a row from 2016 to 2019 in Zurich

Through tango, he finds a way to express himself artistically and to build bridges between the local Swiss culture and Latin American culture. His tango experience is one of "letting go", of sharing the present moment, of being available to his sensations while being connected to his partner and the music. This is what he develops on a daily basis and what he is keen to share in his classes. He is very sensitive and very interested in the therapeutic dimension that the practice of this dance brings

On many occasions in his life, dance was much more than a passion, it was a true resource, a royal means of expression during moments of doubt and questioning. It is therefore driven by the desire to share this passion but also this invaluable resource for the body and mind of everyone, that he offers a teaching accessible to all.

He is currently learning to play the guitar and to sing and continues to enrich her practice of tango but also of other Latin dances in various workshops in Switzerland and abroad. In addition, he uses her training as a dance therapist and masseur to promote and offer her students a more global approach in connection with movement, heart and spirit..

It has set itself the objective of financially supporting the Kindergarden "Creciendo, Jugando Y Bailando" in its home town. He wants to enable children to benefit from an infrastructure that encourages their development by offering dance classes. To this end, he created the "☯️Wellness at Home" association, whose profits are donated to the Kindergarden.

A wink to his roots so that he never forgets where he comes from

Hasta la pista!. Porque… a la vida hay que saberla Bailar!

Caroline Zosso

Caroline was born in Neuchâtel - CH and is currently working as a general practitioner in a practice and has training in medical hypnosis and Jungian psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

From a young age Caroline has loved music and in particular Latin American music, its culture and its rhythms. The practice of Latin dances has therefore naturally established itself as a real passion and has become, for her, an important source of inspiration and personal fulfillment. Since then, she has been keen to share her bodily and mental benefits with others. It is in a second step and in an unexpected way that the tango comes into his life

The encounter with this dance, which is as powerful as it is delicate, proved to be overwhelming and allowed her profound interior transformations. It was through the practice of tango that she found a new way of bodily and artistic expression as well as a capacity to reconnect with unsuspected parts of her being

With Christian's solid training as a dancer, she brings the fruit of her personal experience as well as her skills in the therapeutic support of people. Above all, she wants to offer a vision that emphasizes physical sensations while being connected to her partner and to the music

In short, a reconciliation of body, heart and mind, all in music of course!

Morgane Monroy

Dancer & Secretary

Momo.png

Morgane was born in Neuchâtel - CH and currently works at 💟MonROYdanse and ☯️Wellness at Home as a dance teacher and secretary

She grew up in a family where dance and music had a prominent place and she was able to immerse herself very early in the different rhythms and styles of Latin American music. She started to dance classical music at a very early age and had been practicing synchronized skating up to competitions. Over time she became interested in a wider variety of styles, including Latin dances, Hip-Hop and Contemporary

She finally practiced Latin dance at the age of 11 and Argentine tango at the age of 20. Immediately falling under the inescapable charm of this dance, she decides to train with the technical precision, with and unique musicality that it requires. She then began to share her knowledge through short workshops in Neuchâtel and at her father's house in order to democratize, especially among young people, the Argentinean tango, which she defines as the dance of couples expressing the most mysterious sensuality.

It has set itself the goal of financially supporting the "Creciendo, Jugando Y Bailando" Kindergarden. It wants to enable the children to benefit from an infrastructure that promotes their development by offering them dance classes. To this end, she has created the association "☯️Wellness at Home", whose profits are donated to the Kindergarden.

A nod to her roots so she never forgets where she comes from

Hasta la pista!
